Update!

How are you guys! My life has picked up on its rapid pace once again – a really apt timing because I managed to finish with Fall In Love With Me episode recaps before I lost all my time again. Right now, I'm at a loss for dramas because Pretty Little Liars has just finished its Summer Finale last week and is on its break, and Once Upon A Time is starting end September. In the meantime, I would love to entertain myself with a drama, so do recommend me any! <3thoughtsramble

Fall In Love With Me Episode 18 Recap

I'm not sure what you guys think (do share with me!) but I like this episode much more than the previous one. Even though there were some moments where I felt that the characters were being real stupid, I like that at least there was some action and movement in plot. I can't help but recall all the previous build-ups and lies, and wonder what the purpose in foreshadowing was, since they ultimately don't serve as big a function as we were led to think.

Fall In Love With Me Episode 17 Recap

THIS EPISODE makes me so…angry at some points. I liked the build-up and the script but now that the scriptwriters are trying to go down a different plot line than what was foreshadowed, I'm just a little frustrated with the story and wish that they would get on with it. Worse still, it seems like they're trying to make Evil Mother realise her mistake and turn good, which is the most unsatisfactory ending you can give to an evil character. They are also taking away our satisfaction of Tian Xing realising that he has been LIED to and manipulated this whole time.

Fall In Love With Me Episode 16 Recap

This episode…I hated some parts and I liked some parts. I think it's starting to be draggy, even though they are inserting different plot elements each time – like this episode is our couple's supposed last night together, and Huan Huan steps up on her game, but really in the overall grand scheme of things, I don't think we have moved very much and that irritates me a little. Of course, I was happy to see the return of cute OZ moments and some good kissing between our leads.

Fall In Love With Me Episode 15 Recap

I was quite okay with this episode, but as I was doing the recap, I felt an increasing sense of frustration. This episode is meant for build-up. There's not much plot movement but it plants seeds that are useful for future plot development. I get it, but I just feel that they are pushing Tian Xing into an unbreathable corner, and I'm impatiently waiting for some sort of release.

Once Upon A Time

Does anyone watch this series!! I love it, even though I find Season 1 to be the coolest so far — with all the parallel back-stories and fairytale characters. I am on Season 3's Episode 12 and I think Rumpelstiltskin is one of my favourite characters which is really a surprise if you know me. (Since I'm all suckers for second leads and nice people) Okay, but upon second thought, I realise it's rather predictable since Rumpelstiltskin is kind of a good character with a really sad past and understandable motives. I felt so bad for him when Neal kept rejecting him. Hook is another of my favourite characters (I see a trend with me and villains oops) but I think currently Rumpelstiltskin takes the lead. (And you would probably realise that I've not talked about Pretty Little Liars in ages. That's because I was quite bored with Season 5's Episode 1 and was wondering if having stuck through with this series all this while was getting me anywhere. BUT I shall persevere…soon.) <3thoughtsramble

Fall In Love With Me

A few readers have asked me if I knew how many episodes this drama has so I did a quick search. However, I couldn't find anything definitive and different sources say different things: Wikipedia says 23 episodes. Soompi says 30 episodes. The Chinese version of Wikipedia (which I think is maintained by different people from the English version) seems to have quoted 17 episodes and have even listed the next drama to take over the same timeslot starting from 3rd Aug 2014. Does anyone have any idea what the real number is? Personally, at the pace they are going and the things they have to solve, I think 17 episodes will make more sense than a drawn out one like 30 episodes. Also, once again I will be Internet-less for about a week. This time round, I'm quite sure I would want to do a recap on Episode 15, but it will come really late, estimated to be around 16th/17th July. So I hope you guys will still check back and support the recaps!(: Love you …

NOOO

Have you all watched the preview for Fall In Love With Me Episode 14?? My heart aches for Tian Xing already when the devillish mum announces “It’s not like there’s no remedy – you just have to marry Huan Huan.” What even!! <3thoughtsramble

Update!

Hiii I would once again be Internet-less for a few days and that is going to affect Fall In Love With Me Episode 13 Recap. However, this time round I’m pretty sure I will still be doing the episode recap regardless of the plot (oops hope I don’t regret this!) so do wait for my recap! It will just be a day later than usual. Take care, everybody~ <3thoughtsramble

Fall In Love With Me Episode 12 Recap

I like this episode in that there's more comic relief and a sense of our olden, ancient days where characters were happily fooling around. However, in reality, the pace of the drama has slowed down and there's nothing much that happened in this episode. I understand that it's necessary to deal with the fall outs from the previous episode's conflicts so I shall eagerly await for the day when we can see cute moments from our main couple once more!:D

Updates

I will not be able to access the internet for about a week, starting this Sunday, which means that I won't be able to do Fall In Love With Me Episode 9 Recap! I might still write it when I come back to drama-land but that will mean that the recap will be a week late. Alternatively, I might just skip recapping Episode 9 and go on to do Episode 10 when I'm back. I shall see how it goes! On another note, I have been marathoning Once Upon A Time (just started on season 2!). Rather delighted with Julian Morris's cameo appearance. Even though he's better known to me as Doctor Wren hehe. My eyecandies are suffering from short-lived fates. First the Huntsman died because he tried to escape from Regina. He was kissing Emma yes, but that doesn't make his death any less tragic. T.T And then Prince Philip (or Doctor Wren, or Julian Morris) died within a episode because he was marked. T.T T.T My dear Prince Charming, please be a long-lived …

Fall In Love With Me Part ll

someone has abs now:D This drama is really growing on me. I was initially rather disappointed that we can't see Puff and Aaron again, but to be honest, the pairing of Tia and Aaron is growing on me too! While I don't think they have that great chemistry off-screen, on-screen wise I think Tia has done a good job of being Tao Zi and now I can't really vision Puff bringing a better Tao Zi (we might actually be seeing Liang Liang). I think the script for Fall In Love With Me might be a bit stronger than Just You, in that the script is really funny when it's supposed to be funny. I love scenes between Tian Xi and Fu Bo, hahahah they are like father and son! Quite eager to see what else the drama has in store for us:D <3thoughtsramble

oh no

Oh no I've disappeared again hahaha, it seems like complete free time doesn't exist since two years ago. Anyway, I've been catching up on a few things recently Aaron's new drama — what a pity Puff isn't acting in it! I guess we do have to give Tia a chance though. Those fans who kept putting Tia down and saying how good Puff was, remember she wasn't the best when she first started out on Just You…in fact I could positively say she was quite horrid in the first few episodes. So since she improved greatly, we should give Tia an opportunity to prove herself too! I just wish I could see the sparks between Aaron and Puff again, they are REALLY cute. 3 Days — not a great drama for my heart because I just can't take thriller (no idea how I survived the City Hunter days) hence I've stopped at Episode 9 after shouting at the screen because even I know that the Secret Service should be protecting the Major rather than the …

Emergency Couple Last Episode

Hooray for a misleading preview HAHA, and it's a happy ending for all as I've wanted!! *throw confetti* I love it that the main couple isn't rushing into marriage this time and that they are just taking it slow, learning from the mistakes they have made in the past. It's nice that Chief finally learns how to open his heart and to accept his past. The mothers have put down their grudges, and Yong Gyu and Ha Reum have a happy ending. What I like about this show is the exploration of the theme second chances and also relationships. Using couples of different forms (I mean different types of relationships), we see how each couple deals with the past and present circumstances. It's kind of a feel-good and sad show for me at the same time, because while I love how Oh Chang Min and Oh Jin Hee finally found their happy ending, it feels kind of wistful that these kind of second chances may never come by in reality. Their relationship worked because they …

Emergency Couple Part V

Oh no I don't have a good feeling about the last episode sighhh. Is Jin Hee gonna be sent to somewhere far away:(( and why must they make Chief see the kiss between Jin Hee and Chang Min tsk…I rather his rejection takes place along the lines of him confessing and being rejected, but no, they must make him into this sad figure who FINALLY decides to have some action, only to be stopped by some cruel 'fate' of running into the couple. On another note, I am going to miss the main couple SO much. They have so much cuteness going on, and it makes me feel good. It makes me feel as if second chances really exist in reality hahaha and that if you were meant to be, the obstacles that got thrown in your path would make sense one day. I love the scenes when Chang Min was being all prim and proper about which side he is drinking the water from (to avoid contact of saliva/indirect kissing, which is hilarious because …

Emergency Couple Part lV

Even though I am a Chang Min — Jin Hee shipper, I felt sad for Chief here when he was helping Jin Hee find Chang Min. I could see the sadness in his eyes:((( And much as I am a shipper of the main couple, I don't like how Jin Hee suddenly discovers that she has feelings/respect for Chang Min. It seems too simple and unreal, and not how I would want them to come back together as a couple. <3thoughtsramble

Emergency Couple Part lll

It's quite a pity because Emergency Couple's episodes always get released on days when I'm the busiest, hence I don't think I would be able to recap them. However, I do like how it's turning out so far hehehe. Pleaseee just give Chang Min and Jin Hee a happy ending! I admit I might be biased towards Chang Min from the start. He certainly wasn't the nicest character around and I don't like him in his immature ways. Yet, he has really become more mature in the past few episodes, and I'm sure the death of his father is going to change him and his mother in ways that are permanent and for the better. I do like the pairing of Jin Hee and Chang Min. Jin Hee and Chief make a really cute duo, but I feel like they are perhaps just a brief respite to each another rather than the significance of a new life. They make each other's hearts skip a beat, but that initial attraction and admiration…could it really be the …

Monstar Part lll

in the end, my love for this drama started to ebb away, so here's some final thoughts from me without any screenshots. I think it's a lovely drama (note: especially if you support the main couple). They do awesome covers and I like how there's a backstory to almost all the characters, so it was very satisfying to finally learn of them. However, I read both Dramabeans and Couch Kimchi's recaps for the last episode, as I decided I didn't want to waste anymore time watching or loading the shows…and the thing is, both of them dislike Seon Woo! I think I must have been quite blinded/biased/Seon Woo turned horrible in the last episode then, because I still find Seol Chan very annoying and that there's hardly any cute parts about him. True, he was super sweet when he told Ahjusshi that he grew up listening to J. Ahn's composing, but he isn't always that sweet. And he has that inferiority complex thingy going on or is it some jealous thingy that just makes him …
