I can’t believe it. So Episode 13 IS the last episode?! <3thoughtsramble
I can’t believe it. So Episode 13 IS the last episode?! <3thoughtsramble
Right now, I’m feeling dilemma-ish (again) on recaps. On one hand, I want to share nice and sweet dramas with my readers in hope that they will watch and support the drama/get feedback. However, on the other hand, I’m very aware that people read recaps and then even if they still watch the drama, it wouldn’t feel as good as you watch it first hand. Hmm..
Haha recaps are getting longer and longer with sharp increase in number of screenshots!:O Xiao Feng sprains her ankle, and Ah Yi runs over. She’s obviously in much pain, but the first thing that Ah Yi says is — "Idiot." Xiao Feng says that she’s already in much pain, yet he still scolds her that. In his own way of caring, Ah Yi piggybacks her in front of everyone and brings her back to the hostel, with everyone staring with a combination of shock, surprise, (jealousy?:P) and speculation.
Wow! I never thought I would need to use an lj cut for recaps on Love Buffet haha!:P Xiao Feng gorges on food and her friends tell her "You’ve been thinking about your own feelings, but have you thought about Da Ye’s feelings?" and that they have discovered something. Xiao Feng sits by her window and looks up, wondering why the light is not on in Da Ye’s room. Suddenly, someone says, "What are you spying on?" Shocked, Xiao Feng jerks backwards and Ah Yi catches her.
Haha I’m still on Love Buffet… don’t know if you guys still remember, but I mentioned quite a few entries ago that my mum bought Summer’s Desire to watch…. so as expected, I’m currently watching episode 2 with her! It seems quite nice so far.. but I don’t think I’ll be doing any recaps for that because it’ll be very hard to get screenshots… do expect a few comments here and there(: Have you guys watched Summer’s Desire already? I really, really like the books! <3thoughtsramble
Yay(: More Da Ye screenshots this time round!:D So Da Ye leans on Xiao Feng’s shoulder for one minute, and after that, he’s okay. Da Ye accidentally sees the photo that Xiao Feng has kept ( the one with them in the background) but he only sees Ah Ji ( the guy in the front), hence he concludes that Xiao Feng likes Ah Ji. He tells Xiao Feng that he will help her, even though her taste is a little weird. This is how Xiao Feng finds herself having a conversation with Ah Ji. Ah Ji keeps on stuttering, while Xiao Feng feels really trapped because the one that she likes is Da Ye, not Ah Ji! Da Ye pretends that he has something on, and leaves. After that, Xiao Feng leaves, with Ah Ji hot on her heels. Xiao Feng starts to ‘cry’ because she doesn’t know what she should do, and Ah Ji doesn’t know what to do with her. Ah Yi sees the scene from on top. Xiao Feng buys a drink …
I hate spams, go away spams. Shoo~~ <3thoughtsramble
Continuing on….(: Xiao Feng needs some tennis shoes, and she invites Da Ye to help give her advice because she secretly wants a date with him. However, the ignorant-of-her-feelings Da Ye says that he has not much experience with female tennis shoes, so he in turn invites Qiu Ying to come along with them. Xiao Feng gets super excited even though her spirits were a little dampened by the fact that Qiu Ying is tagging along as well. Her friends advice her to dress up well so that she will appear like she cares about this ‘date’. Oh she dresses up so ‘well’, that it kinda makes Da Ye and Qiu Ying feel really weird about her dress combi ( a hat, with boots, leopard prints pants, sundress… everything(: ) Qiu Ying says that she wants to go to an art exhibition, and Da Ye says it’s okay to go there before they buy tennis shoes first. While on the scene, Xiao Feng is a little bored, and she suddenly needs to go to the …
I just realise something — I’m extremely biased in my Love Buffet 2nd Episode recap! There’s not a single screenshot of Calvin anywhere. Gosh gomenasai ne! However, I will just like to explain. I’m getting increasingly busy nowadays, but I will still like to share whatever stuff I’m watching with you guys, so in that case, I can only take a limited number of screenshots…. and when I obviously look out for more Ah Yi scenes than Da Ye scenes, the ratio of those screenshots will not be balanced. I hope you guys can understand, and if you are Calvin fans, I can assure you that I don’t dislike him — I just don’t really like Da Ye. Heh. <3thoughtsramble
Woots!:DD Xiao Feng admits to her friends that she might be crushing on Da Ye, and her friends tease her about it, while encouraging her on. Brimming with love, she feels like she can fly, and even those kids that she is playing with get so tired after playing games with her. She happily tells them that it’s because of love, when Ah Yi appears and tells her not to teach stupid things to kids because they will become stupid as well. Xiao Feng informs him that she doesn’t have the words "give up" and "fear" in her dictionary. "If there’s going to be fear, why have a relationship?" Ah Yi ponders for a while, then smiles. He asks, "You never have a relationship before do you?" Xiao Feng hrumph him, doesn’t answer and bring the kids to somewhere else to play. Ah Yi smiles again behind her back, but after they walk away, his face sorta falls. In his bed that night, he thinks about his ex girlfriend again. Xiao Feng dresses up the …
but it seems that I’m hooked on Love Buffet! I really have no idea why… There’s nothing that should pull me in, seeing that most of them can’t act, the storyline is very typical manga-ish, and I know that the girl is going to piss me off pretty soon with her fickle mindedness. Thus, I conclude that it’s due to Aaron’s presence! I really like his character right from the first episode, and that made me wonder if my Second Lead Instinct is really that awesome. I thought he was the lead at first, and I was still wondering why I would like the lead so fast, when I realise while reading some other people’s comments that nooooo he’s not the lead, he’s the second lead. Argh! To think that I used to sympathise with Calvin for being always stuck with second lead roles whenever he appears in a drama with another Fahrenheit member. I wish I could pull back in all that sympathy now. It’s not that I have something against him, no, not …
or the 1st episode recap(: Yep! I’ve currently moved on to this Taiwanese Drama, and am very pleased to find out that it’s about university students, until I read the Dramawiki synopsis and I was like 0.0 Apparently, Xiao Feng falls in love with Da Ye, gets hurt by him, falls in love with Ah Yi, gets hurt by him, then crawl back to Da Ye….. WHAT?! I’m sorry hahaha, my reaction is entirely due to the fact that I do not like female characters with no backbone and no dignity. ARGH. Okay, but to be fair, first episode was pretty nice and sweet. We are introduced to the two main male leads of the story — Da Ye (the one above) and Yi Cheng ( the one below). They were sent by their grandfather to return to Taiwan to study and their grandfather has also settled their accommodations, which happens to be next to Xiao Feng’s house, the female lead. One day, someone finds a stray dog and Xiao Feng falls in love with …
Gosh what can I say? J’adore le film<3 (Well, it doesn’t take anyone who learns French to understand that sentence!) It was a really good watch and I think that it indeeds earns the reputation that it has now. Basically, it’s about a teacher, Mathieu, who thinks that he has failed in every aspect of life and he finds a job at a boarding school that is meant for troubled children. During his first few days there, he witnesses the harsh and brutal discipline carried out by the headmaster, Rachin. Mathieu uses his own ways, love and humour to keep discipline within the boys and even forms a choir out of them. However, Rachin just has to constantly spoil the picture by disapproving what Mathieu has done, or to steal his credit. As the days go by, the boys fall deeper and deeper in love with singing and they become more obedient as well. The overaching plot for this film is simple enough, but it succeeded by its portrayal of love. It is …
YAY! I’ve managed to borrow it! I hope that I can finish watching it before it is due though:/ Excitedddddddd. I even borrowed He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not!:D <3thoughtsramble
Oh yeah(: Haha! The reason why I’m currently not hooked on any drama is because I’m hooked on this reality tv show!:D It’s another version of ANTM ( American’s Next Top Model ) except with lesser melodrama ( yay!:D Good for me) and more er… nudity. I’m currently watching the episode of the Final Four, but I already know who’s the winner! That’s because I watched from Youtube, and people there just can’t resist making spoilers. Oh well. So, just to warn you guys, if you are currently watching this, but you haven’t gotten to that particular episode, there’re spoilers ahead(: Nicola is my favourite! It was such a pity that she got eliminated so fast because I wanted to see more shots of her. Charlotte was amazing to me. I don’t like her without make up, but with make up, she suddenly changes into someone that is so full of seductive appeal and she really gives awesome photos! I’ve always read about Amelias types, but I’ve never actually saw one on tv before. I’m …
It’s definitely not because I’m getting more and more readers everyday, because to be honest with you, my readership has dropped ( which was kind of inevitable, because thoughtsramble tends to get more readers when there’s a collective interest in XXX drama or YYY drama), so pray tell me, why do I get so many spam messages??? Or perhaps they do not just attack those with more readers? Maybe they aim at everyone? Haha I have no idea, but I’m definitely seeing an increase in those weird messages that do nothing but advertise many, many sites and it’s kind of arghhhhhh + -.- for me right now. I get on an average, one of these messages every day and I wonder if they are posted there through some programme, or really by some person?:O <3thoughtsramble
I googled my livejournal name in for fun, and was relatively surprised to see that people have been quoting stuff that I wrote on this livejournal! I’ve no idea if I should be super flattered, because it never occurred to me that one day, people would be coming here and quote about the things I wrote to other people. I’m glad that most of them did their credits, but this has also caused me to be worried that there might be people taking things off this site, and then not acknowledging at all. Even though this should be taken as usual, and nothing to be worried about, but I don’t really like it:/ due to a super unpleasant experience. YepD: Anyway, haha, yep I’m currently quite pleased. Lol. <3thoughtsramble
I WANT TO WATCH IT BADLY. Haha! Just Youtubed one of their songs ( Vois sur Ton Chemin) and I realise that I’ve heard it before!:O <3thoughtsramble
On a day when you are insanely bored/depressed/nothing better to do, what will you do? How about – choosing some dramas to watch, a few movies here and there, and some books to light up your way? Even better, have some yummy food to accompany you on this journey! I’ve always been recommending dramas, and dramas, and dramas, but if you have followed this livejournal for quite some time, you would have realised that I don’t just write about dramas alone! I write about books, movies, my own thoughts, reality tvs and more! It’s basically about anything that I will want to share with you guys out there, and so I was thinking, why don’t I recommend a mix of these things to you? If you have an entire day to waste, and you are simply too lazy to go out, why don’t you – 1. Start with the appetizers. Do you have any favorite scenes from any dramas that you love? Well, rewatch them! I’m sure you can find them on Youtube, streaming sites, …
The story so far….. Lee Seul finds out that she’s a princess and because of that, Hae Young doesn’t want to let her become the princess as that will be equivalent to snatching his inheritance away. -gasp- First few glances at the leads — okay not bad, funny, Kim Tae Hee’s a convincing university student(: The plot after a few episodes starts to bore me a little, especially since Hae Young’s character doesn’t seem to be that attractive yet. I mean come on, a guy who helps you become a princess and overcomes all obstacles with you? Yeah grab him any time, but a guy who doesn’t want you to become a princess, and takes every opportunity to send you off to Egypt? Hmm I’m not so sure ( By the way, I’m at Episode 5. Slow I know:P) Yet, that being said, it doesn’t mean that I’m not amused by the cuteness of what the leads do/ the plot! "Omo, why is his eyelashes so long?" -touches her own in envy. LOL. He looks like a …
Yay! I finally had time to write a review for this!:D So Spirited Away was a classic animation movie as well, wasn’t it? I love the soundtrack, and the love between the characters. I’m not talking about just romantic love in that sense, I’m also referring to love between friends, and the love that you can give other strangers. Spirited Away was a little scary for me because of all the gory characters that they had. Okay, maybe they aren’t gory, but I will tell you that slugs and snails and frogs and scary huge lumps of smelly gods aren’t what I have in mind. Yet, in a way, these characters draw the viewers’ attention and captivates them as well. In case there are readers who have no idea what this movie is about, I shall provide a short synopsis. Basically, there’s this girl called Chihiro who wandered into this abandoned amusement park with her parents and even though she told her parents not to, they still ate the food that was …
I can’t seem to find a suitable picture for this, but I will just go ahead with the review(: So, Summer Wars is about how this guy, Kenji, accidentally helps to break to security code that protects Oz, a virtual world which everyone in Japan depends on — for business, emails, shopping and more. After finding out that it’s his fault, he tries to save the situation by stopping the evil guy from taking in all the information of the accounts made in Oz. Together with the help of his senior’s family, Takashi, who is also his crush, they try to stop the evil guy. I ventured into this animation movie because of the excellent impression that The Girl Who Leapt Through Time made on me. You could see the director’s hand in this, and his own style. However, I must admit that The Girl Who Leapt Through Time still remains my favourite out of the two movies. I’m not entirely sure why this is so, but I highly suspect it’s due to the subjects …
Hey guys! I’m so sorry for not being able to update but —– remember the performance that I was talking about a few entries ago? it’s finally over, and now I will have more time to dedicate to this site! I’m sorry but I definitely didn’t neglect you guys haha!:DD Now that I’m quite out of touch with dramaland, would someone like to tell me what’s the hottest news out there?:D Is My Princess considered outdated already?:O <3thoughtsramble
Haha that was a random title! How’s life for all my readers out there! Life has been really super hectic, but I miss posting entries on a daily basis! I’m currently watching My Princess now, and it’s kinda good — funny and nice, but no way romantic yet [ For your information, I’m still on Episode 3]. Here’s just a random shout out to all my loyal readers — thanks for your constant support, and help! I really appreciate it, and I love all your comments, so keep them coming<3 For new readers, I hope that you will stay on to visit thoughtsramble on a regular basis, and then maybe you will soon come to love those things that I’m writing about as well:D Even though I’ve been so busy, I try to read some stuff, and that’s how I found myself reading Agatha Christie’s books! As mentioned before, I find her a little too simple for my liking, since I was expecting hardcore, mind-boggling detective stories. Soon, I’ve come to realise that it might …
Ooops! It has been too long from the last episode of Secret Garden! Have you guys watched it? It was really, really cute here when he got amnesia and thought that he’s 21 years old! He’s like this awkward, funny guy lol! See what I mean?:D Goshhhh a white grand<3 the showdown of the two love rivals! SUCH A CUTE SHRUG!!! Then a showdown between the two women in his life. Poor Oska! It was very funny here because his mum seems to have a much better impression after Seul took out the same perfume spray as her haha! I think she’s so pretty! I can’t tell if she went through plastic surgery or not though:/ Sweet! HIM PROPOSING — "I didn’t want to marry you because I love you -a look on Ra Im’s face- I want to marry you because I can ONLY love you, and I don’t want any other women in my life." AWW! Before this, I was choking up with laughter for some weird reason that I cannot remember… I …
Yep so I’ve been away for more than a week and I apologise!:P Things have been moving really quickly for me, and I’ve fallen sick as well. So take care, all my readers! I have a particular strong reaction to cold medicine. The non-drowsy ones give me a sense of being really detached and immobile, you can just imagine what the drowsy cold medicines do to me! [ Yes I’m currently on medication, so after this post, it’s time to sleep. I can’t really move my fingers anymore lol. ] I’ve also taken part in a performance which requires lots of commitment and time to prepare for. I’m really glad that I’ve joined because I love making friends and participating in new experiences. Right now, I haven’t fulfilled many of the goals that I wanted to achieve at the end of this mega-huge performance [ not solo of course! ] but I have faith that these hopes and wishes will come true! I just finished Secret Garden last episode. Yes, how slow can I get? …
Last recap!
Here’s Episode 9!
Hey guys I have a question:O If Ra Im has serious brain injury/lots of injuries/coma, how can Joo Won just pluck her off the system?? <3thoughtsramble
So now that Ra Im knows that the man whom her father saved was Joo Won, she’s heartbroken, and there’s this cliche scene in some sense, where Ra Im calls Joo Won but he doesn’t know that she’s just behind him. Joo Won learns that his mother wants to fire him, which causes Secretary Kim to whine "President~~~" "I told you, I’m not your president anymore." "Joo Wonie hyung!~~" Omg that was just funny, looking at the outraged expression on Joo Won’s face. However, what he doesn’t know is that it’s a move on his mother part to threaten Ra Im to leave Joo Won. At first, Ra Im insists that she loves Joo Won and she will work hard to make it better, but his mother remains adamant that Joo Won should not have a flaw like Ra Im, thus ending her dramatic speech with "I will destroy his life." Like seriously? I couldn’t contain my doubts so I just had to post an entry on that single thought haha. Enters one of my …
