Secret Garden

That’s just so stupid! Argh Joo Won’s mother is really crazy — I can’t find a single shred of redeeming point in her. So because Ra Im is low class, she will destroy Joo Won’s life? Then how about herself? Oh did I just hear her declare "Watch how I destroy Joo Won’s life." ? 0.0.

Psst

Wow, haha you can see that the busy times I’m talking about are here! [ referring to entries where I mention that I will probably post only once or twice a week, instead of everyday] I’m going to keep on doing Keizoku 2:SPEC recaps even though I’m pretty busy right now, so be patient for it:D I’ve heard that subs are out on some places, but I still couldn’t find them, so I shall take it that my recaps are still in demand right now(: Even if no one else needed those recaps, I think I’ll still go on, because I don’t like the idea of not finishing what I’ve set out to do haha! Nevertheless, it’ll be great if I have readers, thank you<3  I’m currently reading The Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead, but I’m so reluctant to reach the ending! Like any dramas, I hate it when stories or plots come to an end, because that means I won’t ever know more about those characters and their lives [ sad endings excluded ]. …

Secret Garden Episode 13-16

The body swap is just hilarious, and cute seriously. I mention before that I wasn’t planning on watching Secret Garden at all, because of the body swap, but I’m so thankful that I went on! There was/is [ I don’t know and I don’t care ] an uproar on the scene where Joo Won pushes Ra Im on the bed, which supposedly kills some viewers’ love for this drama, but rest assured, not mine. I really wanted Tae Ssun to be un-gay, but haha since that’s impossible, I just wish that he’ll have a happy ending, because 1. Oska’s definitely not gay and 2. I want Oska to be with Yoon Seul.  Minor Recaps!:D Pretty!! Ra Im came to the party to tell Joo Won about her decision — which was a yes. Even though she swore by her father’s name that she would not get together with him, she realised that the pain of staying away from him would be even greater. Joo Won was going to tell her his answer, but they were …

Howl’s Moving Castle Review

The one I watched is not English dubbed [ of course! ] because I just cannot stand dubs.  All right, I watched this, and I love it. So what’s the catch of this movie? First, you have a young girl called Sophie who was turned into an old woman. She’s in love with Howl, who seems like he only likes young pretty girls, so a secret there. Second, you have Howl, a wizard, who is really vain and ensures that he is at his best whenever he goes out, so you have a tiny bit of comedy. Third, did I mention that Howl is actually super charming [ and in my opinion ], quite good looking? He has his secrets of his own, so you have a mysterious, dark, handsome good lead. What are you waiting for? The film starts off with an introduction of Sophie, and within ten minutes or so, the mysterious arrival of Howl, who teaches Sophie how to walk in the air. The pace is just right, with no …

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Review

Yes I just finished watching that!:DD  I watched that after watching Howl’s Moving Castle and Spirited Away [ which I will do reviews later on ], so I had this weird impression that it was directed by Hayao Miyazaki. I think that this movie has similarities when compared to Spirited Away, but I was thinking more of the drawings of the characters. When I realise that this movie was directed by Mamoru Hosoda, whether you want to call it as a trick of mind, I could immediately feel the difference in directing styles. For me, this movie is interesting because it shows what will change if time allows some events to be changed.  Basically, this movie talks about a girl who accidentally chances upon the ability of travelling through time by leaping. At first, she uses it for totally frivolous reasons like acing exams and all, but she soon realises the effects of leaping through time — bringing changes to other people’s lives, in a bad way. There was a twist towards the end, …

Keizoku 2:SPEC Episode 6 Recap

When my recaps get deleted, I have two kinds of emotions paired with two kind of reactions. Emotion #1: I get really pissed off. Emotion #2: I feel deflated. Reaction #1:I retyped everything again immediately, because I refuse to let technical glitches, or stupid human errors on my part, delay the recap. Reaction #2: I hold the recap off, because I’m tired [ as in literally, my fingers were aching ] of typing. Haha! I guess you could call this case a pairing of Emotion #1 and Reaction #1! In any case, no harm done and my fingers get an extra work out:P

Keizoku 2:SPEC

Oh wow I just deleted the entire Keizoku 2:SPEC episode 6 recap. I can’t think for nuts why I just keep doing that to myself! I did a backup this time round, I was so cautious but I lost the backup on Microsoft as well. This makes me think that I’m just fated to lose recaps. Gosh. <3thoughtsramble

Secret Garden

Seriously! I just went to a drama recap site [I’m pretty sure you guys know which one] because I had to confirm some stuff about Secret Garden, and I accidentally chanced upon this whole rant on assault. Okay I can see where that was coming from, that dramas and books make us look through this rosy screen until we think that it’s sweet and awww, and that we don’t see the truth behind this scene [ I’m referring to the one where Joo Won pushes Ra Im onto the bed ]. Yet, all Joo Won did was to hug her close! He didn’t even kiss her or anything, and he even showed restrain by chanting that funny thing because he respects her etc. So what’s the big deal?  I’m not targeting anyone, but I just feel like saying "REALLY" in that sarcastic tone. Yes, he pushes her on the bed, yes, she struggles but because he’s a man so he wins, yes, it romanticises the whole thing till we can’t see what’s wrong with it. The truth is, …

Secret Garden

OMG I KNEW IT I KNEW IT THAT TAE SSUN IS GAY OMGGGG. Okay I’ve no idea if I should be happy that I feel smart or to be sad for him because I THINK he likes Oska and Oska definitely won’t like him, right?  I actually wanted to say that I thought Tae Ssun is gay in the previous secret garden post. There’s something in the way he looks at Oska… it’s like a guy looking at a girl if you know what I mean, then I suspected so even more when he says that he’s worried about Oska. Does this mean that the actor of Tae Ssun is really good? Or that I’m smart hee hee!:D Okay ego aside, maybe he’s not gay at all. Hmm we shall see how, but in the meanwhile, let me bask in the joy of guessing the right thing lol. <3thoughtsramble

Secret Garden Episode 8 – 13

I’m actually barely into episode 13, but anyway, OSKA JUST MADE ME TEAREDDDDDDDDDDDD.  I think it’s nice that Seul and Woo Young still love each other, instead of like a typical Korean Drama where second female lead and second male lead are both deeply in love with the leads. I think this drama is special in a sense, because they didn’t use a lot of the cliches. For example, Joo Won is more like a ‘girl’ in that sense than Ra Im, everything in terms of action, stamina, attitude etc… gosh I’m in a love-hate relationship with Joo Won. He’s such a jerk!!!!!!!!!! It’s like he still has no idea how to respect others and he always goes about doing things on his own. He doesn’t know when he has hurt others, and when to apologise. Yet, he can be so sweet at times that I will squeal. ARGH. I think I’m on a more stable relationship with Woo Young lol.  That cracked me up entirely. HAHAHA. The whole set up makes him look like …

New Year…

A year is drawing to a close! This year, I’ve went through so many things, and survived. I’ve grown up a little, I’ve set up thoughtsramble, I went through examinations [ while watching Playful Kiss even when examinations were just on the next day. -guilt- ] I met new friends, and kept in contact with the old ones…. I did things that were memorable.  Thoughtsramble, when it first started out, was quite sad… with like 0 readers, or at its best, 2 readers per day. Yet I continued writing because I don’t know… I just like it, and slowly the readership builds up. I started to recap on Playful Kiss, and the readership shot up. I get comments, and new readers. Then, Playful Kiss ended, and the readership drops again, but way better than when I first started. I still write about everything that I’ve watched, because I know I have readers that keep coming back [ Thank you so much!^^ ] and I love writing for them. Now, I suppose it’s luck/another phase of …

Secret Garden Episode 4-8

I’m halfway through Episode 8!^^ HAHAHA [ by the way I’m not going to do recaps:P ] I think Secret Garden has, by far, one of the most successful body swaps that I’ve seen! Many dramas use body swaps to create a comical effect… and failed terribly, but Secret Garden succeeds by quite a big margin, if my squeals and laughter are an evidence to anything. I think it’s funny how the four main characters are all using each other to make one another realise something and they act so close and intimate just to spite others — Seul and Joo Won just make Oska crazy, Joo Won plus Oska make Ra Im pissed and so on and so forth.  I think that Hyun Bin has really a cute dimple!^^ I hope that after they soul-swapped back, he will continue to smile in that way so that we can see the dimple:PP It’s just too awesome to see him all gay. On the other hand, Joo Won in Ra Im’s body is not that funny …

Secret Garden Episode 1-3

I am utterly hooked on this drama! It’s a good thing that I don’t celebrate Christmas:P  I put off watching this drama because I’ve heard of the body swap and that sounds a little too….. nonsencial for my liking. However, the moment I realise that it’s Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin PAIRED TOGETHER, gosh I can’t wait to start on this drama. I’ve liked Ha Ji Won from Hwang Zhen Yi and Hyun Bin from other dramas, though I almost couldn’t recognise him, because he’s so much more good looking now. Skinnier? From the first three episodes, they give me a sense of good romance with a hint of comedy, and potential to develop lots of romance scenes that will make us squeal. I’ve no idea what I’ve liked about this drama and what pulls me towards it actually…. perhaps the chemistry of the couple? I like how Joo Won tries to restrain himself yet he couldn’t help but to care for Ra Im. There’s something about her that just attracts his attention, and …

OMG

ARGHHH I’ve been diligently typing the recap for Autumn’s Concerto AND LIVEJOURNAL FREAKING DELETED IT THE WHOLE THING. ARGHHH.  I’m so sorry for that outburst… I will come up with the recap again soon. D: <3thoughtsramble

Updates~~~

About that Keizoku 2:SPEC recap down [ points to the below entry] remember to comment! Please don’t be shy(: or it’s really hard for me to tell if it works or not. Next — I’ve just gotten back the results of my language exam! I’ve no idea if it’s good though sigh — am trying to google search where my certificate lies in the big picture out there, but I think honestly it’s quite useless at the moment.  I will be doing a couple of entries like wishlist and what-not in the next few days, and I LOVE READING~~~ I think I should start watching Majo Saiban [ spelling?] soon, or I will have no time next year. Right…. it’s time to tell you guys that once the new year starts, I probably won’t be updating as often as this [ like once every two days or something ]. It will probably be more like once a week, or even worse, once in three weeks when I have my exams, but I do love posting …

Keizoku 2:SPEC Episode 3 Recap

So here it is! Third Episode of Keizoku 2:SPEC 😀 I will not promise that I will do this ALL the way, and this recap is just for a try out, to test if it really helps those who need English subs. If you guys want me to go on, you will have to leave a comment, or I will not know whether it helps you or not! Here goes: [ By the way, I’ve started on Episode 3 because I found English subs for the previous 2 episodes already… try googling search it!]

Bonjour!:D

Haha lol that was random. Just finished reading some stories from Nora Roberts and it feels kinda like a Julia Quinn thing. In an attempt to make up for all the lost quality time that I could have spent with my books, I have devoured Agatha Christie’s books as well. I guess I was looking for elements of the Japanese Dramas in them, and I was mildly disappointed to find sparks of Nancy Drew instead — more of a story rather than thought provoking plot elements.  I’m trying [ key word there! ] to learn some Japanese right now but I just hate memorising so much that it’s kind of failing:P I’ve decided that I shall do a recap for Episode 3 of Keizoku 2:SPEC so do check back for it! Autumn’s Concerto last recap will come in about a few days, and I’m kinda itching for another new drama. I’m actually thinking of rewatching Mars because I mean, it’s <3. <3thoughtsramble     P.S I’m sorry if I sound so, so disjointed because I’m so giddy …

The Man Who Can’t Marry

Honestly, I feel so bad about the impending days when I’m outside and nowhere near my computer to do recaps or to post entries, I’ve decided to post something to at least make up for it. This entry is not going to be about a recap or a review about The Man Who Can’t Marry, but rather it’s just going to be full of screenshots. Of who?  Jae Shin and Ga Eul(: That’s right! I’ve kinda dropped that drama not because it’s lousy or anything, but because the steaming site got too slow, but up till the point where I’ve watched, they’re still a couple. Imagine that! My favourite guy from Sungkyunkwan Scandal, and my favourite girl from Boys Over Flowers. Ga Eul’s quite pretty, but I must forewarn everyone that Yoo Ha In was not like Jae Shin. He went for the nerdy-cute style there, but because I know it’s Jae Shin, I can’t help but like him:D Here goes! My first glimpse of him and I was like HEHH IS THAT HIM?:OOO Pretty …
