W Episode 6 Review
My dear you shouldn’t be this happy to find yourself in jail again!
My dear you shouldn’t be this happy to find yourself in jail again!
I love it whenever I find a show that is so good on many different levels.
As you guys know, I’m a huge fan of Refresh Man. I’ve been on a drama lull since that drama ended, so you might have noticed a lack of updates for a few weeks. I apologise for that! Life’s been pretty intense. (I am however, up to date with Doctors. Not too bad thus far!!)
This is one of the better final endings I’ve seen for a Taiwanese drama, in that the resolution for the conflict is left for the final episode and everything else is tied up nicely.
We are taking a step back in the plotting stuffz but I love spending time with the good old couple anyway!
I quite enjoyed this episode although there was a tad too much plotting for my liking, but for the first time, I actually found myself wishing that there was more and I didn’t have to wait until next week to find out what happens.
Finally some good plotting!
Didn’t enjoy this episode quite as much as the last, but what I surprisingly do enjoy is that I now have feelings about Zi Yu…Feelings of dislike yes, but at least I feel something about this character.
I really enjoyed this episode as usual especially with the couple scenes, but this is just a pleasant comfortable watch – don’t place too much hope on the plot!
I really enjoy watching this episode! Finally our couple has come together and even has few ground rules set. I like their dynamics because it is just like how a normal couple would behave!
I hated the first episode but this drama has grown on me ever since!
Dang it, I missed the chance to recap all the funny and romantic comic relief last episode! But this episode makes up for it slightly, with an added story arc that kinda started and finished within 1 episode.
With this, the Urk arc comes to an end.
THE ONLY THING I AM OBSESSED WITH RIGHT NOW
Let’s leave all my thoughts to the end and dive right into the recap!
I wasn’t actually very impressed with this episode. There were all the great plot developments but it just didn’t feel very new or exciting, and that’s a pity because the next one will be our finale.
Yes I’m still on this show. HAHA.
Really enjoyed this episode too! It was 50 minutes of pure acting goodness, tears, character development and some answers.
I’M BACK YES I AM. I really enjoyed this episode, which is kind of belated since we are nearing the end of the drama. But what pulled me in was the acting, the tight plot and the conflicts…and oh lots of sympathies and a little rant at the end.
Everyone probably thinks the same way as I do – 2015 really went by in a flash, didn’t it??
Gotta say that I love the pun on the show’s title!
Hook, we will find you. I will always find you. Okay it’s been too long since I’ve written a proper post on thoughtsramble. I feel sooo guilty about it OOPS. But I’m so glad I’m kinda back! I’ve been wanting to write this ever since I finished the finale a week ago. This isn’t a hate post (because I love Once Upon A Time too much for that) but I do have a few questions and like wtheck? moments throughout the show.
Because I am the Dark One. I am so acutely aware of the fact that I have not posted in AGES OMG, so this is a post to tell you guys that I am alive and well. I am free! However, I spent the last week preoccupied with some real life commitment as well as catching up with Once Upon A Time Season 5, which I think is an improvement from the Frozen Arc. Come to think of it, I’m not quite sure what’s the relevance of the Frozen Arc. At least this Arthur thing has something to do with the backstory. Please please recommend me any good Korean dramas that are ongoing! <3thoughtsramble
Oh goodness is it just me or did WordPress’s post layout change? Anyway, this post is way too belated for the show has ended 2 weeks ago! Just click on below if you want to have a little #throwback!
I have so much to think and say about one of the biggest thing that has happened so far, that I just had to write a post on it. Purely just my thoughts (in a rambling fashion as usual).
Forgive me hahaha, I really had all the intentions to recap every single episode after the last one, but real life takes over and I’ve decided to focus on the matters at hand. However, I have some free time now, and I must write this review!
You know, although the China’s cut may not sound very different from the Taiwan’s cut in writing (i.e the recaps produced may not differ that much at all, since I will be skimming over stuff too), I highly recommend watching the Taiwan’s cut if you are someone who wants to be emotionally attached to a show. The China’s cut breezes past all the boring AND exciting stuff so it’s good if you don’t really care about the characters and you just really want to know what happens.
Hohoho I’m not sure how many of you saw this coming, but I’ve basically fallen in love with this drama ever since it was in its infant stage (lol, meaning Episode 2 or 3). This was actually adapted from a novel, written by an author who commonly has other works spun off into dramas (e.g Summer’s Desire). Much as I love this show however, I’m not sure how much I can commit to it yet – if I can recap it regularly until it finishes, or only on an ad-hoc basis. I hope to make it more concise than my usual recaps, so that this leaves me more time to do this on a regular basis.
This is just a really short post that I’ve been wanting to write for AGES. Yeah this show has long finished. I tend to have very serious drama blues if I’m too attached to a show, and I’m not kidding when I say that sometimes this affects my mood in real life. As such, over the years, I have developed this defence mechanism whereby if I foresee myself getting too attached to a show, I stop myself from watching the last episode until my own hype for it has died down. Does that make sense to you? This method works wonders for me(:
I quite like this finale! I love it that there was a point to the ending – many drama finales dedicate 60 minutes to pure happy endings, which is great because on top of seeing the main couple being lovey dovey and sweet for an hour, I almost always stop having drama blues haha. I think a good ending does it just right in the sense that it satisfies you with enough couple time but leaves you wanting to see more of them. I know I will definitely miss this couple and the entire cast a lot!! Note: long recap ahead, do let all the screenshots load first!
