Pi Li MIT and Gloomy Salad Days

DRAMA BLUES AGAIN!! I’ve just finished watching Pi Li MIT, a.k.a The Clue Collector, and gosh, the drama blues! I really like 007 and Lucifer, and also all members of MIT. It’s kinda surprising for me to see GuiGui act so well in the last few episodes of MIT. On the other hand, even though I’m obviously not complaining, Aaron’s character has less space for him to show/improve his acting skills, as 007 is someone who is cool, but as usual, very sweet towards the girl. I want a sequel! -starts chanting- It will be really nice to see all five of them act in the same drama again! Recaps of this drama will be coming soon<3 On a side note, I'm going to finish watching Gloomy Salad Days as well, and haha, sometimes I hate it when I watch 2 good dramas at the same time, because when both finish, the drama blues will be DOUBLE. 'Tis not very good when I'm having examinations right now, heh:P <3thoughtsramble

Castle In The Air Review

Hello guys!:D Recently, I’ve just gone to the library for a sweep of books, and guess what, I return home with 3 Diana Wynne Jones (who had just died recently, and I’m really sad D:) So, I’ve managed to finish Castle In The Air within one sitting, and I really like it! It’s a story about Abdullah and how he comes into possession of a flying carpet. He meets with Flower-In-The-Night (which is an absolutely delightful name if you think about it) and falls in love with her. However, before they could elope, Flower-In-The-Night gets abducted! –cues gasps- And so Abdullah sets off on this journey to get his princess back. Of course, I really like the ‘cameo’ appearance of Howl, Lettie, Sophie and Calcifer in this story! It was really fun to read more about them and to find out what happened with Howl and Sophie after Howl’s Moving Castle. As for the story itself, I thought that it’s quite interesting… but somehow it seems like Howl’s Moving Castle’s story line manages to grab …

Updates:D

Hello guys!<3 Exams have been hell to me so far:/ I’ve been falling sick regularly because I just hate exams sooo much, and they keep coming! THEY WOULDN’T STOP OH SAVE ME.  Lol. Anyway, life has been quite hectic so far, what with juggling dramas and exams and fangirling:P I’m currently watching Gloomy Salad Days and Pi Li MIT/The Clue Collector, and continuing on Love Buffet Recaps. I’ve just discovered that Shirota Yu has just come up with a new drama called Yotsuba Jinja Ura Kagyo Shitsuren Hoken and I’m so excited to watch it!:DD It seems quite nice, even though I didn’t particularly like the female lead in the show. I’ve been trying to find sites that have online streaming of this drama, but it seems like I can’t find it:/ Oh well. I guess I will just have to wait a little longer! Next on my list should be Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta (what’s up with all the long titles!) starred by Toda Erika. She acts as a teacher inside. …

Review of The Next Aaron Yan EP

OOPS:D Hee is it a littttleeee too huge?! Hahah I’ve no idea how to make it any smaller because he would end up either looking very stretched or looking like he just got squashed by his fans:P Hahaha I knew that I probably would be doing something like this, that’s why in my review of Super Hot, I did say that that will be one of the few times. Well, this time is one of the few times as well! Okie, so he had six songs in this EP, namely: 1. 下一個我 The next me 2. 只看見妳 I can see nothing but you 3. 一觸即發 Touch and go 4. 最後一眼 Just one look 5. 忽然之間 Suddenly 6. The Truth That You Leave I have read a few local reviews that said that ohhh the fact that there are only six songs, and two of them aren’t created from scratch, shows the company’s lack of thought that is put into the album… Okay it really depends on how you look at it. One review said very nicely, that …

Review of Fahrenheit’s album, Super Hot

Okay to be honest, I hesitated writing this post… because I wouldn’t want thoughtsramble to become a site for fangirling purposes, if you know what I mean….as in I wouldn’t want it to become toooo un-drama/movie/something-you-watch related… but I figure that this will probably the only/one of the few time(s) that I do this, and it’s something that I currently like right now…so why not!:D   Okay so here’s the album track listing: "太熱" Tai Re (Super Hot) "Sexy Girl" "心疼你的心疼" Xin Teng Ni De Xin Teng (Heartache on Your Heartache) "繼續愛" Ji Xu Ai (Keep Loving You) "很安靜" Hen An Jing (Very Quiet) "守護星" Shou Hu Xing (Guardian Star) "活得更像我" Huo De Geng Xiang Wo (Going On My Way) "誤會" Wu Hui (Mistake) "泰山程式" Tai Shan Cheng Shi (Tai Shan Formula) "新生" Xin Sheng (Rebirth) I haven’t bought the album yet, but I’m considering buying it. Lol. I know I’m slow, but come on, I only like them since March? and it was all because of Aaron in Love Buffet. It’s amazing how just because I like Ah Yi in …

Hello!

Hello friends!^^ Wow it has been a (relatively) long time since I updated anything! As you guys should know, there’s some problems with Livejournal these few days, and for some reason my IP address was still blocked even though most of my friends’ weren’t since yesterday. Haha, a lot have happened in the past few days! I fell utterly in love with Aaron (LOL:P) and I’m amazed at my good timing because I like him just when he’s releasing/released an album so there’s lots of awesome good news about him around. I’m glad that his album sales are good!^^ I’ve just had my exams, and I finally can rest for a while…and I rediscovered the awesomeness of Jacky Wu (homg I’ve never laughed so hard for an episode of I Guess for a long time… I guess (no pun intended!) without Jacky Wu, I Guess is not I Guess.) I will be coming up with recaps pretty soon, so looked out for them!^^ <3thoughtsramble

Update!

Hello! Just wanna drop by to say that I’ve created a Tumblr page!^^ You guys can ask me anything on that page (if you want to!) and I will answer them. I’ll be reblogging things that are most probably related to my livejournal etc, and if you guys are fellow thoughtsramble readers, then do follow me!^^  Ah, I almost forgot to tell you guys the url. Oh well, it isn’t that hard to figure it out^^  thoughtsramble.tumblr.com(: See ya there! <3thoughtsramble

Gloomy Salad Days Episode 7 and 8 recaps

Woots! Okay these recaps have definitely many more screenshots. Why? Because there is more Aaron screentime (YAY!) and this obviously equates to having many more screenshots of him whenever he appears. The day has finally come (wipes tears off my cheek) when I finally waited till Aaron appeared from 10seconds per episode, to 2minutes per second, to finally 10 minutes per episode. Thank you thank you.

Ah!

It just occurred to me that I seem to have totally given up on Love Buffet recaps:O I think I will complete them one day, but not any time soon then! Friends, do help me to spread this livejournal around (lol sounds like jam)! If you see any problems with my recaps/whatever, please feel free to comment so that I can improve(: I have no idea what’s wrong though… is it because I’ve been recapping Taiwanese Dramas recently, and Kdramas are more popular? <3thoughtsramble

Gloomy Salad Days Episode 4-6 Review/Mini Recaps

Hi there!! Finally got down to writing the review for these 3 episodes, but pardon me if I don’t sound coherent, because I’m burning a high feverD: Okay, so this drama is broken up into many short stories, and basically each short story spans around 2 episodes, with the second episode showing how the stone gets found by the next short story’s leads. In this episode, Xiao Lin (the main character of the story) talks to Du, the messenger/Death, depends on how you look at it, but no one else can see Du. A few girls think that she has gone crazy, but Shen Qi, who doesn’t need a stone to see Du, stands there in shock seeing Xiao Lin talking to Du.  I totally just squealed when I saw this. I mean, come on, you only get to see like 10 seconds of Aaron Yan each episode; you’ve gotta appreciate each scene!^^  Shen Qi runs up and basically tells Xiao Lin not to talk to Du anymore, because she might turn into a stone. …

OH man

I really hate it… when I’m sick!! I’m sorry guys! I was going to update today about Gloomy Salad Days, but I fell really ill… zzzz. So I’m just dropping by to tell you guys that I will continue updating of course, very soon!:D <3thoughtsramble

First impressions of Gloomy Salad Days

Yay! So I’ve finally decided that I shall watch Gloomy Salad Days for Aaron Yan.  First impression? This is a drama that’s really not bad. Not bad at all! Okay, however, it’s really down and depressing, so if you’re those who seek a fun rom-com, this is totally not it. According to Wikipedia, these are all true real life social cases, and I admit, it does get me a little down to know that there’re so many thoughts of death in teens. I mean, in a drama where it revolves around Death, just how un-gloomy can it get right? I think that the first 3 episodes have made a very good impression on me, because they found actors and actresses that can act, and who can convey the idea of hopelessness, desperation and grief quite well. They are so good, that it almost (stress:almost) didn’t matter that I probably only caught like one minute of Aaron Yan in total in these three episodes.  First scene of Aaron Yan: my favourite screenshot, for some reason:P In …

Again:P

Hello everyone! Okay this is just a really informal post… to talk about how I’m so glad that you guys are here to read thoughtsramble. It sounds cliche, but my wish of doing this properly wouldn’t have been possible if not for you guys. I remember asking for your help months ago, to help spread the existence of this livejournal to anyone you think might like/love it, and some of you did, which I’m really thankful for. For those readers who discovered this livejournal super early, you might recall about how I said that my readership has dropped after Playful Kiss, which is okay since I’ve anticipated that coming.  Ah, this isn’t a post to talk about readership… not really:P It’s just a hope that more people will help to spread this around. In the earlier stages of this livejournal’s existence, I ever considered dropping this because there’re just too few people for me to go on ( but I didn’t drop it in the end because I figured I will write even for that …

He loves me, he loves me not review

I’ve just watched this movie!^^ It’s a 2002 film with Audrey Tautau. I must admit that knowing what has already happened (thank Wikipedia for this) has both its pros and cons. The bad thing is, I already knew what will happen, hence no surprise there, and that Angelique(Audrey Tautau) has been imagining things. The good thing is, it has allowed me to guess what the other points of views are, while watching Angelique’s point of view of the story. It’s also interesting to note how a certain observation that gives you a certain idea of what has happened, can actually be attributed to a totally different reason.  I didn’t take too much notice of the actors’ acting, because I was more focused on trying to understand the french words spoken, and trying to ignore the english subtitles. Ah, trying being the key word:P However, I think that this movie is really interesting and it’s just so…. frenchy! In a good way I guess. French movies, as I’ve mentioned before, seem to have their …

Gloomy Salad Days? Or MIT

Right, so I said that I was going to watch a drama with Aaron Yan as the lead (should have no second-lead induced sadness then) and I couldn’t decide between MIT and Gloomy Salad Days! I’ve heard that Aaron Yan and Guigui have the best chemistry ever but I find it hard to like (granted, I haven’t watched the show yet) because the first show I’ve watched Aaron Yan in is Love Buffet, and naturally I would pair him up with the actress in Love Buffet… so I don’t know if I’ll enjoy watching GuiLun(that’s how they call it!^^) in MIT! Haha! Maybe I’ll start out with Gloomy Salad Days first(: <3thoughtsramble

Fahrenheit

I would really have to say that Fahrenheit’s appearance on Jacky Wu’s variety show where they have to find items that are suspicious is just simply hilarious. Aaron Yan’s so smart! Gotta love the four of them(:  Haha fret not, this space is not going to turn into a fangirling platform for Fahrenheit… I’m just expressing my new findings lol!  <3thoughtsramble

Updates(:

Yay! Okay I declare myself an addict to two of Fahrenheit’s songs in Love Buffet! It’s like Love Buffet will never make it to my favourite dramas simply because… Ah Yi didn’t get the girl:P but I really like their two songs inside the show. I’m so addicted to the two songs, they are all that I’m listening to these few days. One of them is called Mistake and it puts me in a really sad mood whenever I listen to it. The other is probably called Guardian Star if you translate directly from its Chinese title, and it puts me in such a good, bouncy mood!^^ My friend calls me bipolar. Haha! I find that I have a better view of Fahrenheit now(: I never hated them; I just thought they were eye candy…. they may still be eye candy right now, but after watching several videos of them going onto variety shows and such, I think they’re really funny, cute, nice and talented in certain areas that I (and I’m pretty sure many …

Omo

Okay I’ve just finished watching the last episode of Love Buffet… and meh!!!! -spoilers ahead- WHYYYYYY okay Xiao Feng decides to go with Da Ye after all, even though Ah Yi tells her that he will like her forever. Even till the end, Ah Yi still likes her, but Xiao Feng truly likes Da Ye…  I can’t decide if I like Aaron Yan more or Ah Yi more haha! Somehow I feel that I do see a little of Aaron in Ah Yi ( as in the same kind of aura?) not sure… but anyway, feeling rather:/ about the ending now! It’s like Ah Yi just wishes Xiao Feng to be happy… then what about himself? I wouldn’t mind it so much if he ends up with someone else, but he tells Da Ye that he will treasure the drawing that Xiao Feng drew, meaning…he will still continue to like Xiao Feng…  Sigh. Sometimes I wish I weren’t suckers for second leads, then I wouldn’t feel sad so many times. Hrumph.  <3thoughtsramble
