Sungkyunkwan Scandal Episode 10 -12

All right, things got a little angsty right in these few episodes as Sun Joon struggled with his what-seemed-more-than-friendship-love love to Yoon Hee. As Sun Joon and Yoon Hee got angsty with each other, Yong Ha/ Yeo Rim stood by the side, viewing everything with much amusement, and Jae Shin… Jae Shin protected Yoon Hee, regardless whether she knew it or not.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal Episode 5 – 9

I admit, it totally got me hooked now! I’m super happy that I didn’t drop this drama after the 4 episodes in front. To this date, I’ve no idea if they seem so boring because I still had my blues or they’re really boring. Anyway, it gave me a shock because I didn’t know I watched that fast! That’s why I said that Sungkyunkwan Scandal’s good point is that it stops just at the right moment.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal Episode 1-4

Sungkyunkwan Scandal is set in Sungkyunkwan University in the late Joseon era during the reign of King Jeongjo, revolving around the exploits and love stories of four youths. When her younger brother’s illness worsens and their family is in danger of being evicted from their house for lack of money, Kim Yoon Hee enters the school under his name, disguised as a boy in her desperation to support him. [ taken from wikipedia] That’s for the first 2 episodes. In Episode 3 and 4, Yoon Hee met some people who thought she looked very familiar but didn’t realise that she’s a girl, since she’s decked up in men’s clothes. She managed to unintentionally charm Cho Sun, who if I’m not wrong, was a prostitute, that In Soo liked. She went on with her school life, trying to survive without people finding out her secret, but she always faced a problem at night — sleeping in the same dorm as Jae Shin and Sun Joon [ who are guys ]. One day, Sun Joon got drunk and …

Keke:D

In an attempt to forget my post-Prosecutor-Princess blues, I’ve started watching My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and Sungkyunkwan Scandal! Right now, I’m still not very into both shows even though I’ve watched 2 episodes of Gumiho and 3 episodes of Sungkyunkwan Scandal. I have no idea if it’s because of the blues… or the plots of the shows. I might have even stopped watching if not for the second lead in Gumiho who is so, so good looking, and for the playboy in Sungkyunkwan!:P Reviews will be up soon:D <3thoughtsramble

Prosecutor Princess Episode 16

I finished this wonderful, amazing drama! Ma Sang Tae faced problems with his company when he realised that he couldn’t pay off his bills. In Woo and Ma Hye Ri worked hard together and managed to come up with evidence that could convince the prosecutors that it was involuntary manslaughter. After much consideration, Prosecutor Jin and Prosecutor Yoon decided to not indict Ma Sang Tae, and since they classified this case as involuntary manslaughter, [the statue of limitation is 7 years] Ma Sang Tae would not face any charges. However, despite the good news, ST constructions continued to face problems with the financial issues. In Woo felt guilty because he never expected that this situation would arise. He offered his help but Ma Hye Ri rejected his help. On the other hand, they requested for a retrial of Seo Dong Guen’s case, and given all the evidence, the court cleared Seo In Woo’s father’s name. Prosecutor Jin also received news that she would work in another office. Apparently they had to change offices every 2 years …

Prosecutor Princess Episode 13-15

Yes, this meant that I’ve watched 3 episodes from the last entry! Be prepared for a long review! So many things have happened. Hye Ri investigated the case and on the other hand, kept talking to In Woo. She tried to find out what’s wrong but In Woo wouldn’t care about her or talk to her. She felt really bad inside even as she went to talk to Jung Ran, Go Man Chul or Shin Dong Hae’s father to find out what really happened 15 years ago. In the end, she realised that Jung Ran and Go Man Chul cooked up an alibi for Ma Sang Tae who in return gave them money. At the same time, she also found out that In Woo was the son of the suspect, Shin Dong Guen. Hye Ri then realised that In Woo made use of her to investigate her father’s case and she asked him if he was sorry but In Woo said he wasn’t. In Woo told her his story, that his father died in prison …

Prosecutor Princess Episode 8 -12

I totally look like a panda right now. Episode 8 starts with a replay of that kiss [ we fangirls all swoon over ] that Episode 7 ends with. In Woo continued to help Hye Ri to attract Se Joon. Hye Ri found that there seemed to someone in her house but she couldn’t find him/her. It was all the smallest details that got her very worried, like how the channel on television wasn’t the one that she watched, how the clothes on her bed would disappear. In the end, she called In Woo who came to her rescue and found the ‘stalker’ hiding in a cupboard. Apparently the ‘stalker’ had mental problems and thought that he was cohabiting with Hye Ri. Se Joon continued to be nice, and nicer, to Hye Ri, like agreeing to her request to hold hands and taking a stroll down the path filled with sakura trees. The drama continues to let out hints about In Woo’s grudge and motive for getting close to Hye Ri. One day, Hye Ri …

Prosecutor Princess Episode 4-7

Hey guys! This is going to be a pretty short review, but anyway, just gonna say that Episode 7’s ending is really delightful!:D The highlights of these few episodes include Ma Hye Ri taking up a case but the victim’s mother disliked her and requested for a change of prosecutors. Hye Ri became more responsible and chose to leave the plane even though she wanted to escape to Japan at first, due to the bad publicity that she had. In Woo continued to help her with her every wish, but Hye Ri only consciously took note of what Se Joon did for her. In Episode 7, In Woo decided to help Hye Ri make Se Joon her man, since that’s the kind of love she wanted. " If that’s the kind of love Ma Hye Ri wants, I want to give it to her" he said. Then, towards the ending, Se Joon realised that his daughter kept a note from Hye Ri which basically invited him for a picnic. He ran to her house [ …

Prosecutor Princess Episode 1-3

Right, so I’ve watched episodes 1 to 3 at the expense of my sleep and I must say, I’m hooked on the show!:D I’m kinda lazy to type the synopsis here, so if you are interested, just wiki it — can’t go wrong with that. As mentioned before, I was very irritated with Ma Hye Ri because spoilt brats irritate me a lot. Basically I dislike anyone who does not realise the trouble she brings to others and continue happily with whatever she was doing. Episode 1 focuses mostly on introducing the main characters — Ma Hye Ri, Seo In Woo, Yoon Se Joon and Jin Jung Sun. I was pretty confused at first because the drama was withholding information on me. For example, In Woo behaves like he knows Hye Ri before and that he’s kind of helping her becoming a good prosecutor despite having only just met her due to what seems to be a hotel management error. Jung Sun is helping to take care of a kid that’s not hers. Then, Episode 2 to 3 start to …

Prosecutor Princess

I’m watching Prosecutor Princess right now and I’m hating Ma Hye Ri a lot! I get irritated when I read/watch about desperate girls, rash and impulsive/selfish girls, and last but not least, SPOILT BRATS. I know that her character will [hopefully] improve but if this goes on for another episode I’m afraid I’ll throw something. :P. I must say though, that the actress of Ma Hye Ri is not bad! Her acting is really quite good. I have no idea if I should do recaps or reviews…

Shrek the Third Movie Review and Bedtime Stories Review

When Playful Kiss ended, I knew that the number of visits to this livejournal will drop drastically. It has proven to be true but I wasn’t as sad as I thought I would be. This is because I realised the important thing is to remember what I’ve started out wanting to do, and that’s just simply writing what I’ve seen and thought, and what I’ve heard and felt(: All right! This entry is going to consist of two reviews – Shrek the Third and Bedtime Stories. First up, we have Shrek the Third. credit:www.iwatchstuff.com/2007/03/shre…ster.php It is the third installment in the Shrek series and was released in 2007. It continues to tell the stories of Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots and other characters as Shrek goes on a journey to find the heir to the kingdom in Far Far Away land. King Harold dies in this installment which forces Shrek to undertake the running of the kingdom unless he can find the heir called Arthur. Even after Shrek finds Arthur, the journey back home is not an easy one. I really like the …

Lovely Complex Review

credits:www.karrenjavier.com/watch-love-…des-1-3/ Lovely Complex was an anime that I’ve watched a month ago. It revolves around a 172cm tall girl called Risa Koizumi and a 156 short boy called Atsushi Otani and their relationship. Risa and Otani were always the comedy duo in school but things changed when Risa realised that she fell in love with Otani. Otani rejected her because he could not accept her as a girlfriend. However, Risa persevered and things started to work in her favour. Lovely Complex also featured their school lives as well! So.. when I watched this, I had this question in mind from the start till the end — Is it really possible for a tall girl to fall in love with a short guy? I’m not talking about things like a 180cm girl with a 170cm guy. This is a guy that is short, even without comparison to Risa’s height. I asked myself this question and I realised my answer was a ‘Maybe’. I was surprised because I would have thought my answer was a No. I thought that there’s no …

Aishiteruze Baby Review

credit: http://www.animekiwi.com/aishiteruze-baby/ All right I’m on a roll!:D Here’s the review on Aishiteruze Baby anime:D It’s about how a teenage boy, Kippei, found himself with the responsiblity of taking care of his 5 year old cousin called Yuzuyu after her mother sort of abandoned her. Originally nothing but a playboy, Kippei grew and mature into a caring and thoughtful caretaker, and finally had a serious relationship with a quiet classmate, Kokoro. This anime focuses on serious issues like child abuse and sucidal thoughts etc but it was praised for being able to introduce those issues in a light hearted manner so that the show does not get too depressing. I’ve decided to do some screencaps on my own instead of searching the net out there, so meet the cast: Kokoro Yuzuyu [kawaii ne~~] Shouta Tadah! Kippei:D Kippei was a popular guy in school due to his looks and happy go lucky personality. As such, he was often found with girls hanging around him, throwing themselves at him and I don’t know… kissing him. I really like this …

Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélié Poulain Review

Starring Audrey Tautou This is one of the most famous French movies ever and so I’ve decided to give it a go. To summarise it to the simplest point, it’s about how this young woman Amelie changed the lives of those around her by secretly doing things to help them. She helped strike up a love connection at her workplace between a druggist and a beer drinking grouch; she sent her dad’s garden troll around the world as a way to convince her dad to travel around the world etc. Her kindhearted strategies aimed to help those around her to be happier and she succeeded.. but what about her own dreams and desires? I study French as a third language in school so I’m not that good in it but I’ve survived. I like French as a language and since I’m free from examinations, I’ve decided to try out those famous French movies that I’ve heard. To be honest, when I first watched a french movie, I had a shock — French movies exhibit an …

What Kind of Hit Counters to Use

All right! So here’s the entry on What Kind of Hit Counters to Use . I’ve only tried a few though but I’ve decided to just share with you guys which hit counters are the better ones in my opinion. First off, I’ve been testing hit counters from the following websites: http://www.amazingcounter.com , http://www.tinycounter.com , http://www.flagcounter.com , http://www.easycounter.com , http://www.statcounter.com in private entries. The ones that I’ve placed in the sidebars come from statcounter and flagcounter. I would recommend statcounter — it’s easy to use, easy to configure and offers lots of information for a free account. When using statcounters, all you need to do is to sign up for an account, configure your counter and choose the options like what number you would like to start count on. Another point why I like statcounter is that you can choose how long a visitor needs to take before he’s counted as a unique visitor again. As I want my hits to be reliable, and I don’t want to inflate my hit counts just so… it looks …

Playful Kiss Episode 13 Recap

I love this episode as well!:DD First off, I have an obsession over his hair.. LOL. I realise I like celebs that kinda look the same… like Kim Hyun Joong and Yamapi? I don’t know.. I think they look a little similar and my friends have mistaken one for the other before. Also I read online before that Kim Hyun Joong is like the korean version of Yamapi. Anyway, on to the recaps!~~~ :DDD

and and!

My last post of the day I swear:DD [ I love typing so much] I have a feeling that I will regret whatever I typed for the past few hours when I wake up tomorrow and read them again — it’s either gonna be full of spelling mistakes because I haven’t proof read them or it’s filled with ultra weird comments. Somehow, I tend to get a little high when it’s late and I’m tired. hmm. ANYWAY what was I saying? Oh yeah! This is just to tell you guys that I actually set up a twitter account quite some time ago on a spur of the moment — You can follow me at thoughtsramble :DD I haven’t tweeted anything except this stupid sounding tweet which goes " Hi!:D Have created an account which is to promote my blog etc" but that isn’t really the case. I just thought that it would be fun if people do follow me and I can interact with them in a more convenient way!:D So since I have more time on my hands now, …

Playful Kiss

LOL but anyway seriously I’m not kidding his hair looks awesome in the episodes to come<33333 Just to clarify, [ I think] I am better at writing reviews rather than writing recaps because I tend to synthesise what I was thinking into one "essay" and it’s kinda hard to do recaps. Playful Kiss is my first drama recaps so it might be less professional as compared to the famous sites out there that do lots of recaps. Nevertheless, I see my recaps as a way to share with the world out there what I think of the show and my point is always this — it’s always better to watch it yourself. Hence, my recaps are a little too longwinded in my own opinion because I want to bring even the smallest details to the readers. 😀 Just saying:D Other than Episode 13 recap tomorrow, [ I foresee mad screencapping in for the next four episodes] there will be other posts on hit counters [ I’m actually excited this like. okay.] and lovely complex. Oh right, …

hahahhaha oh my…

I was still wondering if there is something really wrong because now the hit counter is jumping much faster than the guests stats, so I went to take a closer look… and I realise to my amusement, guests stats [livejournal tracks who has been to the journal] only tracks those logged in users, which means that only Livejournal users will be shown there… I am currently laughing at how slow I am in realising this seriously:D Yes I love it whenever I realise/learn something new!:DD I think I might post a really short entry on hit counters actually(: The thing is I’m still doubting the reliability of the hit counter so… we will see how(: <3thoughtsramble

Hit counter

If you are observant enough, or have been reading my earlier entries, you might have realised that I’ve added a widget to my sidebar:DD That’s right! A hit counter that counts only unique visitors… The thing is when I first tested this test counter as a private entry, it’s not jumping in tandem with what livejournal guests stats shows me.. so I was wondering if putting the hit counter in an entry hinders its function in any way and hence I’ve put it in the sidebar. I’ll be checking the numbers with the guests stats of course, and if it still doesn’t increase properly I will take it down again(: Somehow I have more readers in the guests stats than what is shown in the counter and I’m just curious why.. Nevertheless, this whole episode of hit counters and what not has made me very happy because I’ve learnt a new thing! — how to put a widget in the sidebar:P Yes I’m an IT noob:D Till then see you guys! <3thoughtsramble

BRR

You know what pisses me off the most? When people form opinons not because of what they really think but what they see and hear. I’m someone who places a lot of emphasis on thinking with what I really feel, and it just irritates me how people can complain about things which I will have been very happy to hear out until I read that exact same complaint or opinion online, I’m literally this –> =.= I mean it’s fine if you simply agree with what they say and all, but isn’t it sad that your opinions are so easily influenced by what others think? It is even more irritating if I know that the original you wouldn’t have said that but you did in reality just because you read those things. GAH I might be irritated at trivial things but yes, this is one thing that will definitely tick me off. We have brains you know, it’s time to use them and judge the veracity of things that we read. Sorry for rant, it’s not called …

Kaichou Wa Maid Sama Review

credits:metanorn.kokidokom.net/2010/01/k…nounced/ Yes, I’ve finally gotten to writing a review on this!:D It’s quite a recent anime and has only finished just a few weeks ago I think. I can’t really keep track of time nowadays lol. The girl, called Misaki Ayuzawa, was the president of the student council of Seika High Academy. She worked very hard to change the school environment as it was a previously-all-boys-school-recently-changed-to-coeducation-school. So she tried to protect the interests of the girls so that the girls would like the school environment. The guy, Usui Takumi, was totally unrelated to her, until one day he found out that she was working in a maid cafe as a part time job. Soon, he began to visit the maid cafe very often. At first it was just to irritate her but slowly, he fell in love with her. Yet, Misaki Ayuzawa remained clueless and continued to treat him like a rival. Watch to find out what happened between the two of them! Yep! This is the anime that motivated me to watch Special A. Even though I can see the high …

AND..

AND… I will like to put hit counters on my website, and I’ve been fiddling around with some, BUT THE THING IS, no matter how I set the counter to count unique visitors [ I swear I double checked] they count pageviews=.= So, here’s asking you guys if you all know any good hit counters to put, that actually do reliably count unique visitors?:D <3thoughtsramble — I hope you guys have been liking my livejournal:D-

YES I HAVE WATCHED EPISODE 11 AND I AM CURRENTLY BRIMMING WITH THINGS TO SAY but unfortunately due to examinations and all, this recap will only come during the weekend!:DD Nevertheless, you can satisfy your eyes with this — AHHHHHHH DID I EVER SAY HOW MUCH I LOVE HIS HAIR AFTER HE SHOWERS AND HE SMILES:DD I’m sorry I totally sound like a perv now LOL. Till then, see you guys! Can’t wait to watch Episode 12 tomorrow, there will only be 4 episodes left… <3thoughtsramble – Please check out my other recaps and reviews other than Playful Kiss! Thank you!- When everything falls around you, maybe, they are falling for you
