Scoops!

Hello readers(: It has only just occured to me that……….. since a long long time in history, I'm not rushing to recap something:P Feels kinda relaxing actually~ I've always found myself in the situation whereby I have to 1.recap let's say 3 series at the same time 2.drama-marathoning and hence causing a backlog of updated recaps 3.okay that's about it. Haha! This time round, I'm not going to take up doing recaps on a couple of dramas, one being Heartstrings (which I still haven't finished, due to me picking up YongSeo couple on We Got Married, and thus not as motivated to finish watching ShinHwa….can you believe it, I'm already at the last episode… fine, I think I will finish it soonXD) and another being LADY~Saigo no Hanzai Profile~ with Kitagawa Keiko. However, I will still be doing reviews on these dramas (Do you know^^ thoughtsramble starts out as a site for reviews and not recaps, because I felt bad whenever an episode recap gives spoilers:P oh well, it has now progressed to a stage …

YongSeo couple

I must say that I never was, and still am not, a fan of Kpop. It is not that I particularly dislike that genre of songs or anything, neither is it due to some weird adversion simply because it's korean (hello, here's someone who adores kdramas with its osts)… it's just that those kpop songs don't make me feel anything and most of them (I note the generalisation) are dance songs that are tailored to show off more looks rather than emotions. Okay that introduction was kinda off-topic…anyway, here's what I've been obsessed about for the past few days! credited to:http://static.allkpop.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/100829_Korean_Wave_Yongseo_6.jpg It has only been about 3 days since I've got hooked on this very awkward and cute couple, and I've just finished 29 episodes. ….. Okay sounds a bit crazy, don't you think?:P I was already interested right from the first episode, because these two people are just soooo awkward… it's so funny and cute to watch πŸ˜› Not to mention that Jung Yong Hwa/C.N.Blue is one of the few kpop people that I …

City Hunter Episode 1-20 in one glance

Haha this isn't a recap, no, not really….. but as I was looking through the hundreds of screenshots I took in order to recap City Hunter, I felt that some of the scenes were really so memorable, that I couldn't help but mentally already choose out some of the best screenshots representing some of the most memorable scenes. I've decided to put them all here, so that you(and I) can reminisce about City Hunter in one glance. Lol. Tags of City Hunter Recaps are on your left -indicate to the tags- so do read them if you want(:

Just a tiny scoop

LOL this is not one of my usual updates' post, but merely a post on fangirling because I'm currently watching Buzzer Beat again (for perhaps the 4th time?) and I just wanna say that I <3333 the Basketball scene! For those who actually watched before, I'm referring to the one where Naoki couldn't shoot in for the first hoop and Riko scolded him, after which Naoki shot in, a nice and perfect arc. I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THAT SCENE, REALLY. I mean I just love how Riko made Naoki play well in the basketball match!!! It's one of the scenes that sure to make me go squealing and clutching whatever cushions that's next to me hahah! <3thoughtsramble

Hold your horses (and mine)

Well with regards to the previous post I made…. I think it's still safer not to be too excited about it. (Lol I've calmed down relatively quickly eh? It has been barely a few minutes since I posted the last entry hahaha) This is because I've known general media to be rather…..manipulative with words, and they know what hot news they 'have' if Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young are going out. So I'm just cautiously reminding you guys, that there IS a possibility that they aren't together, and are just merely friends. Well, but a girl can dream~ <3thoughtsramble

WHOO LEE MIN HO AND PARK MIN YOUNG DATING?

Hahahaha my gosh! Am I so slow on the uptake of news??? HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON??? I've only been just told that Lee Min Ho has gotten together with Park Min Young!! -squeal- Omygosh this is every dramahardcorefan's dream come true! I mean how many times have you watched a drama, think that they are the sweetest couple ever, and wish that they will be going out together?? And this is talking about my favourite couple — Nana and City Hunter. In case you need some form of verification, like me, just so you know, you don't succumb to the wild fantasies of fans, here's an article that I found online: " SEOUL: Korean actor Lee Min Ho has finally gotten himself a girlfriend, and the lucky girl is none other than Park Min Young, his co-star from the recently-concluded drama "City Hunter". Their agencies confirmed Tuesday that the two have been dating for over a month after shooting ended. Apparently, love had blossomed between the two on the set, but Lee …

Scoops

Lol I just like that word as a substitute of 'Updates'…. feels like I'm telling you guys scoops of what's going on in my dramalife:P Anyway, here's a short post πŸ˜› I'm utterly hooked on Heartstrings!!!!!!!! Okay plot wise, obviously it's no where as brilliant as City Hunter, but I do know that they are kinda in different genres, and hence it will be quite stupid to compare whether which one is better in terms of plot. Yong Hwa was absolutely lovable and his acting really improved. Kudos! WHOO WHAT DID I TELL YOU GUYS, THAT SHIN WOO WAS MORE SUITABLE FOR MI NAM MORE THAN TAE KYUANG?? (LOLL sorry shin woo fan here:PPPP) Well his chemistry with Park Shin Hye is quite awesome and SO SWEET. (In case you are wondering why the sudden onslaught of caps and exclamation marks, this is because I've just finished watching episode 10, where Shin kissed Gyu Won in front of all the girls<33) Still watching Hana Kimi Remake of course, do check out the Recaps. Last Episode of …

City Hunter Episode 19 Recap

Well maybe I should have done those City Hunter recaps when I could, because those videos that I depend on for good screenshots in HD are currently not available right now. Psh. It defies my perfectionistic personality to end the drama recap series with less than HD-and-large screenshots. Besides, the new videos that I found right now, they don't load at one go, which means that I will have to watch through every second and sometimes, wait for buffering. Woes~

Lj scribe, and mini scoops of updates

Hello guys! My week is slowly ending and entering yet another week of insanity. It will be crazy with my studies and hence, recaps will come later, but I will still post regularly. I'm currently watching Heartstrings now, finally I get some sense of what's going on and am finally interested in the characters. Phew. I thought it had lost me. It really depends on various factors if I will do recaps for Heartstrings, because as you know, (well if you don't I'm telling you now:P) those take lots of timeD: but it will be so fun to do the recaps… so we shall see how! Was planning to come up with either a City Hunter recap or a Hana Kimi one today, but somehow, Internet's not on my side, and hence the videos wouldn't load, and then I can't rewatch it (even though I have a pretty good memory for what happened in dramas, I'd rather watch it again so as to avoid any possible discrepencies in recaps) and then you don't have the …

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e 2011 Remake Review

I’m not sure how many people actually know about this, but yes Hana Kimi has a Japanese Remake! (Okay to be honest, I can’t really remember why I knew that there was a remake either:O) It’s a relatively new drama with only five episodes out, and so far, four episodes subbed. Of course, having a remake isn’t an easy job, especially when there’s already a Japanese version merely four years ago, which was super famous and spurred Toma Ikuta and other leads to quite high grounds. So comparison is inevitable, and I will be doing that too! I’ve watched both the Japanese Hana Kimi and Taiwanese Hana Kimi. For the Taiwan version, I really like the OST and Jiro inside. As for the Japanese version, the overall was really good — nonsensical but funny. In this Remake of Hana Kimi, Maeda Atsuko takes the role of Ashiya, Nakamura Aoi for Sano and Miura Shohei as Nakatsu. I will have to admit that Horikita Maki makes a cuter Mizuki, and Toma Ikuta’s rendition of Nakatsu remains …

Updates~

I’ve been spending the past ten minutes grinding my brain juices to come up with a new title, but neh, you can see that I didn’t succeed. One of my readers gave a good suggestion of ‘Talk’, and I was thinking of ‘Thoughts’ but both just don’t fit as well as you know…… good ole pure Updates. Hahaha:P We will see howXD I always like to tweak certain things on my livejournal layout from time to time, because it gives me a new, fresh perspective on my livejournal…. and I always hope that they are improvements. For one, the note on the Sticky Note has been altered if you realise(: and I’ve also changed the name of ‘comments’ to ‘rambles’ which kind of suit nicely to my livejournal name^^ Yeahh(Y) As to what I’ve been doing lately… I’ve been coming up with City Hunter trivia and City Hunter Recaps, and updating more frequently than usual (almost as fast as my usual speed last year). This is because I will be quite absent from next, next …

Dilemma

Gosh sometimes I wish that I think it through more carefully haha. I’m currently in this dilemma…. of thinking if I should go forth and make a decision. If I do, it comes off as hypocritical because after all, I’ve voiced out my opinions about why I dislike it….and to accept it now, wouldn’t it seem as if I have two sides? And I don’t like that, because one shouldn’t be hypocritical at all…. but while my opinions still remain the same, it doesn’t mean that I have to restrict myself just because of my opinions right? Besides, if I don’t ever try, I won’t ever know… Haha yes you can see that I’m stuck. Brilliant. <3thoughtsramble

Lee Min Ho’s Interview about City Hunter

Q: The style in City Hunter is totally different from Boys Over Flowers and Personal Preference. What is your emphasis on acting in City Hunter? A:I think that it should be the relationship between characters. As the plot develops, Lee Young Sung and Kim Young Joo’s relationship gradually changes. When Kim Young Joo’s father had an accident because of Lee Yoon Sung, it seems that it should be tense between the both of them after that. However, if one recalls the relationship between these two people, Lee Yoon Sung will naturally feel guilty, because after all, it is because of him that Kim Young Joo’s father met with the car accident. While acting this out, I don’t want to ignore the interactions between people. Q:If the script has a clash with the understanding that you had of a character, how would you solve it? A: Firstly, I will think it through carefully. If I have a very clear idea or thought, I will mention it for us to discuss. Actually, this has something to …

Lee Min Ho expresses regrets at the incomplete love in City Hunter

More trivia on Lee Min Ho and City Hunter: Q: Heard that while filming City Hunter, you were hurt by the pieces of explosion. How’s the recovery?A:There were two sites of explosion on the set. Perhaps there was too much explosives, after the explosion, the glass shards hurt my leg. I’m better now, but actually I have a lot of injuries everywhere, I still feel that it’s tough (laughs) Q:In City Hunter, it ends with the foster father dying, and Lee Yoon Sung living on. Towards this ending, what’s your views? A:This ending suits Lee Yoon Sung’s character very well. Yoon Sung is someone who doesn’t know how to be selfish. It’s not realistic for him to live on happily when his foster father died. The best ending will be like what happened in the drama, he still stays around in the city, leaving people the grave impression of the view of his back. But after that, perhaps Lee Yoon Sung will get his happiness (laughs) like the original works, it’s good to live a …

Lee Min Ho willing to participate in City Hunter Season 2

Oh wow. I never thought I'd be doing this, but oh well, it's good to have variation in one's livejournal^^ I've been searching for more trivia regarding City Hunter, and I came across this interview which says that Lee Min Ho will be happy to take part in a Season 2. This interview also gives his interpretation of the ending: " Adapted from the manga, City Hunter, the drama has garnered attention because of its focus on social issues. The only flaw is its ambiguous ending at the end of the drama regarding the romance, and this has been criticised by some members of the public, to the point of the theory of "Lee Min Ho's spirit". Regarding this, Lee Min Ho expressed, "There are indeed many regrets in the drama's romance. After kissing Kim Nana, City Hunter's identity was found out by others. From then on, the relationship between the two has no progress; for Kim Nana to wait till the five people were punished is also regretful." "Even though I can understand the City …

Majo Saiban Review

Starring Ikuta Toma alongside with Kato Ai and Higa Manami (from Code Blue). Yay, if I’m not wrong, this is the first dorama that I’ve watched from the start till the end since agessss… as usual, once I’m taken up with a drama, I will finish it in a matter of days and probably write a review on it. So here goes(: Toru (Ikuta Toma) is a part time designer who gets chosen to be one of the seven juries. Even though the majo, translated as the witch, appeared to be guilty for sure, one by one, each jury starts choosing "non guilty". Turns out that there is a secret professional organisation which takes care of this kind of matters, such as finding the bane of each jury, so as to threaten them. Toru starts trying to find out the truth, and becomes friends with Izumi (Kato Ai) , another member of the jury. However, Kaori (Higa Manami), Toru’s girlfriend, suspects their relationship and things start changing. One thing worth mentioning is that I …

Lee Min Ho in action

Lol I’ve been wanting to do this post for quite a long time, because I’ve been watching so many behind the scenes and funny NGs that I wanna share with you guys here! So in relation to the previous post, yep Lee Min Ho leaps around the cars, especially in the junkyard scene, HIMSELF:DDD So exciting to know that hahahaha. credited to: http://www.askactor.com " City Hunter’s” martial arts director Yang Kil Young stated, “While Lee Min Ho’s tall height is a disadvantage for stunts, his agility and reflexes help him create superb action scenes. Additionally, he puts in a lot of effort and does not spare himself. Working with him was a rewarding experience, and I enjoyed it.” " Aahhhhh allow me to fangirl for a while:D I mean I have nothing, absolutely nothing I think, against actors/actresses who use stuntmen/women because after all, actors are meant to act, in a sense, not fight but this is why it’s so amazing to see actors who are so professional in their jobs ( I don’t …

City Hunter

OMGG okay I’m totally working on City Hunter Recaps:D But I’m also watching Behind the scenes and NGs of City Hunter (I LOVE WATCHING BEHIND THE SCENES, just sayingXD Who’s with me lol. ) and and and ah okay I know that Lee Min Ho didn’t use a stuntman for his actions, but still it’s so cool to watch the behind the scenes and see Lee Min Ho personally doing all the turns on the cars and props HIMSELF! I mean obviously, I know that his fist is not so strong in real life that he could smash a window/a mirror, and that even though the City Hunter could defeat so many opponents, in reality, they are not even fighting, but it’s just very cool to me to see Lee Min Ho running on cars and leaping from here to there in reality :DD <3thoughtsramble

City Hunter Episode 15 Recap

Haha I’m determined not to drag City Hunter’s recaps longer than is necessary…. but each recap brings me closer to the last 2 episodes which were major heartaches! (Lol if you’d follow me long enough, you’d have recalled how I put off writing Love Buffet Recaps for the last three episodes simply because I didn’t want to rewatch how the stupid Xiao Feng chose Da Ye over Ah Yi. Hrumph.)

Updates:D

Lol I really should come up with a special name for these kind of posts other than a plain old ‘Updates’ Haha! Anyway, lately I’ve been watching Majo Saiban, a jap drama which I will probably do a review on in good time… recapping City Hunter’s episodes (Episode 14 is out, have a look!), trying to start on Hayate the Combat Butler but I’m rather unused to watching nonsensical elements hahah! Well it takes some time to get un-used to City Hunter/ Majo Saiban’s kind of plot, so I guess…. yep I will try to get back into the rom-coms again lol. Thinking of getting restarted on Heartstrings as well, especially since Yong Hwa looks really good there together with Park Shin Hye but I really hope things pick up soon, or I will just die at the end of episode 3 again. Any good dramas to recommend?XD <3thoughtsramble

Updates!

Helloooo:D Well it seems that Livejournal is up again -crossing fingers hoping that I did.not.jinx.it- Even though it’s up again, it’s unfortunate that I can’t post any recaps yet:P because of my busy schedule and everything, but they will come soon, I promise! City Hunter Recaps Episode 12 and 13 are out from here, do read it and tell me what you think of it(: Busy schedule = often finding times to relax one’s brain. I’m currently watching Majo Saiban, a jap drama starring Ikuta Toma! It’s quite good and quite satisfactory in terms of the genre considering that I’m still in a post-City-Hunter phase. Haha! I will perhaps do review on it when I have some timeXD Haha just visited dangermousie.lj a day ago. It has been such a long time since I caught up with her livejournal!! Reading it makes me feel like time passes super fast! Because she’s one of the first people I know on Lj here. Ah… time is short. No, I did not just sprout three words that made me …
